The LSS InfoLab does not sell or provide storage media for files created by students in the lab. There is no "scratch drive" which can be used as temporary storage. We recommend that you become familiar with MyWebspace and store your files there.
Every student, staff member, or faculty member on this campus receives one gigabyte of space for personal storage. You can access that storage by opening http://mywebspace.wisc.edu with a web browser and logging in with your netid and password. Use the icons to upload and download files. You can make your files publicly available, private for your eyes only, or specify individuals that have viewing or editing permissions on a file. MyWebspace even provides a versioning feature for collaborative documents.
